Narrow tall houses, a lot of traffic, street food, delicious coffee, friendly people, colorful markets, modern malls, temples and pagodas - there is so much to experience in Ho Chi Minh City.
Do Maldives need an introduction at all? You hear "Maldives" - you imagine the heavenly place with white sand, blue ocean and wooden villas on the water. But did you know visiting Maldives on budget is also possible?
The idea of Cap Verde was cycling in our minds since couple of years already. Exotic vacation only 3,5 hours away from Europe (measured from Lisbon) without obvious tropical diseases and relatively well developed healthcare system attracted our attention.
From Bishkek we headed to Issyk Kul. Our route looked the following way: Balykchy - Bokonbaevo - Karakol - Bosteri. We visited Konorchek and Fairytale canyons, Barskoon Valley, Dzhety-Ogyuz District, Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye gorges
We arrived with a plane to Bishkek and had only two full days in the city. We were also flying back from Bishkek, so we had another evening in the city. We didn’t see much, unfortunately. The city definitely offers much more than I’ll describe below.
After Eastern Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan adventures, we were yearning for some days in comfort. That’s why we decided to go from Saty directly to Almaty. Formerly known as Alma-Ata, it is the largest city in Kazakhstan with a population of about two million people.
